This Lovely petite Scottish Luckenbooth traditional bracelet is to the Scottish as the Claddagh is to the Irish.
It is a love story...A Scottish love token is often given to a new mother or a new bride. It can be given to a friend. Often times they were given as a symbol of protection. The Luckenbooth features a crown, heart, and the letter M (queen Mary) The Luckenbooth is a very romantic and symbolic Scottish design. GREAT for lovers, friends, and children. Wonderful for weddings. they were first sold from "locked booths" in Edinburgh's Royal Mile dating back to the 15th century….now that is some history for you.
