**Mother and Son Knot**
"A mother always carries her son in her heart, while a son carries his mother in his heart." This modern Celtic interpretation, designed by the Palmers, features an eternity circle, representing the eternal interconnectedness of a mother and son’s bond – no beginning and no end. Surrounding this everlasting circle are four directional hearts that intertwine, symbolizing their connection. At the center of the design is a star within a heart, showing how each carries the other in their hearts. If you look closely at the inner heart, you will find a compass sitting outside of it, illustrating how a mother gives her son direction. This design is rich with beauty and deep meaning. It is also double-sided, perfectly balanced, and remains the same on all sides. The "Mother Son Knot" is a popular Celtic symbol, characterized by a knot with no beginning and no end. Each loop represents part of a whole that cannot be separated, much like the relationship between a mother and son.
